American singer-songwriter, Prince is widely regarded as one of the greatest musicians of his era.
His hit, 'Purple Rain' is without doubt one of the all-time classics and so it felt only right to encapsulate that in my painting of Prince, as an instant connection to his great prowess.
This painting was also painted using UV sensitive acrylics and so when viewed under UV light it takes you on an astonishing sensory journey, as you see the colours transform and the 'purple rain' flow over his thoughtful, poised expression.
